The Story So Far

After leaving school, I began my career with an apprenticeship in building, learning the fundamentals of the trade from the ground up.

In my early twenties, I felt a pull towards something more—adventure, challenge, and the opportunity to see the world. This led me to join the army, where I served for 24 years. During that time, I developed a strong set of values—discipline, honesty, reliability, and trust—that would later become the foundation of my business.

As my military career progressed, I knew I wanted to return to the building trade and eventually settle with my family in Cornwall. Aware that my hands-on trade skills had faded over time, I spent the final four years of my service fully focused on retraining and specialising.

I immersed myself in airless and air-assisted spray systems—an advanced method that had already become well established across Europe. I trained in Germany with one of Europe’s leading spray manufacturers, gaining hands-on experience in both spray painting and spray plastering.

On returning to the UK, I achieved a City & Guilds qualification in fine finishing, reinforcing both my technical ability and professional standards.

I initially established the company in Monmouth, building a strong reputation through quality workmanship and word-of-mouth recommendations. With the long-term goal always in mind, I later relocated the business to North Cornwall to put down roots with my family.

Today, the company is built on the core values I carried from the army, combined with a commitment to precision, quality, and reliable service.

Over 90% of our work comes through recommendations. That means everything to us. It reflects the trust our customers place in us, and it’s something we work hard to maintain—by delivering outstanding results and a service that continues well beyond the completion of each job.
